Accommodation in Bangkok, Thailand: MeStyle Condominium (via Airbnb)

DATE STAYED: January 28, 2018 – February 1, 2018 (5d/4n)

THE RATE: Php7,447.77 for four nights (via Airbnb)

THE ADDRESS: 25 Soi Bang Na-Trat 23, Khwaeng Bang Na, Khet Bang Na, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10260, Thailand

THE EXPERIENCE:

What?? Php7,447.77 for a two-bedroom condominium unit for four nights?? Yeah! Cheap right!! That’s like, less than Php2,000.00 per night!

So… what’s the catch, you ask?

Well, if the host honored his commitment and if it didn’t rain/flood, then there’s no “catch”. For his “commitment” issues, check Day 1 of this Bangkok series. For the flood issue, check Day 4.

What is inside our unit? Living room, kitchen, a bedroom, a masters bedroom with en suite bathroom, and another bathroom. Towels were provided.

Pros: Unit – spacious even for five adults, kitchen has enclosure so the smell wouldn’t stick to clothes and furniture, ample light in all areas of the unit. Location – Walking distance from CentralPlaza Bangna, Pororo Aquapark, and Big-C Supercenter.

Cons: Unit – bathroom door didn’t close, both bathroom doors not tinted enough (silhouette of user can still be seen, yikes!). Location – Floodprone area, far from the BTS and the general shopping area.

No TV but there’s a cabinet. Inside is an iron and some hangers.
Pool of the condo. It’s actually clean. I conclude that green tiles and swimming pools don’t go together.

THE VERDICT: 2/5

Will I stay here again? No. I would have considered staying here again had the host exerted effort to comply with his commitment.
