The best things in life are.. CHEAP!
Our second day tour was as jampacked as our first. We were able to visit an island, a lake, three beaches, and three caves.

I am torn. Part of me wants to keep my Camotes experience to myself for fear of the possible exploitation tourism entails, while the other part wants to share its beauty with others. As a fellow blog-reader, I know how hard it is to find an updated entry on these islands so I feel responsible for introducing to my reader the paradise that is Camotes…

THE TRIP
06:30 LesLo and I woke up early to find Jomalia Shipping Corporation terminal in Mactan. Jomalia is the only company that offers fast craft service from Mactan to Camotes. My Cebuana officemate suggested this transit instead of taking the Danao route, which will take at least four hours. Mactan terminal was relatively new and I could not find any website that would give us directions. We decided to look for the place early in the morning to buy tickets, return to the hotel for breakfast, checkout, then head to the terminal. From the hotel, we took a taxi to Cebu Yacht Club, our landmark. We found the terminal called Mactan Wharf. Transportation: Php 55.00

A close friend invited me to Camotes Islands, Cebu in August to celebrate her birthday. She already booked the earliest flight from Manila to Cebu on August 11, 2017 via Cebupacific. Her return flight was on August 15, 2017. Since she will pay for our accommodation, I agreed and booked the latest flight to Cebu on August 11. I had work and the trip will cost me two vacation leaves so I told her I cannot accompany her on the earliest flight. We decided to meet in Mactan, stay overnight in a hotel, then head to Camotes Islands the following morning.
